That woosley is quite a character. It's a little weird that smarty hasn't answered his question on udc that I did my darnedest to derail for fun

Yes I do. Quickest time ever at diesel power challenge, and his engine came back the next year in another competitors truck (whose name eludes my at the moment)

Matt Kaufman..... and yes, Woosley is a bad ass.

I've never "followed" or really watched the dpc challenge. But the 2014 challenge was so good that I watch it at least once a week on youtube. I'm like a little kid

Woosley is a fricken riot to be around. Literally doesn't give a chit what you think. And don't let his persona online fool you, guy is smarter than those whole facebook groups combined. if you can get him in a serious moment, that guy is very knowledgeable.

He is really good friends with Lavon Miller, owner of Firepunk.

I don't doubt it. His grammar and prose are spot on. He made some crack about Canadians yesterday though I didn't understand. Must've been a Newfie thing since they're the ones nobody can understand

He is slightly less tame than Pete. Sarcastic, red head, serious when needed, a wise ass.

I've read some of his posts both on cf and compd. the compd stuff had me cracking up pretty good. The cf stuff is more serious since the one thread is about smarty giving more rpms with udc (which is 3 pages at 40 posts, and smarty hasn't commented once. I also had a hand in derailing it for a bit)

Paul Cato is a home town boy here where I live, he says Woosley is really fun to be around, Paul is moving his business to a town 20 miles west so I won't go by as often.

If it weren't from a Ford it'd be better imo.

I've seen Paul in the 6.7 sections a bit. Apparently pushed 598whp out of a stock fuel system 6.7 with a 366. Says its a tune he "wouldn't send to a customer"

He does test and tune at the drag strip I go to, I have seen some pretty wicked stuff he has done, but holding true to the site, if it ain't mechanical I just can't get
really excited about it, speaking of ford, Paul has found a nitch fixing fords, he has a slough of them in his shop at any given time ( job security )

nothing against Paul at all because I believe he is a good guy from what I know, and he can put together a pretty good combo of parts, but bolting on parts is not my idea of a performance shop, now if he done custom cam grinding, head porting and milling, cutting edge machining and such then yeh you have my attention.

There are perks to the cr's. Sometimes though they're just effing stupid. Like pulling fuel in the top for no legitimate reason. Like mine won't surge at WOT from 1st all the way to 5th, but as soon as it hits 6th bam it starts shuddering like a mofo. Then for whatever reason when it gets to about 3k in 6th it's smooths back out
