Why you teasin' mother trucker!

I scored a set of 235/85-16 today too. I paid $300 for a set of 4 with less than 1k miles on them. :P

Amazing what a set of decent wheels and tires does to make a piece of shti look like a real truck!

Nice rig, moeller, and the wheels look extra sharp. If it were mine I'd probably drop the rear of it down to match the front height, but lowering 4x4's seems to be a bit blasphemous.

He sleeps pretty good, because he knows the guy who got the truck is both happy with the deal and that the guy is genuinely interested in SAVING the truck, not using it to re-power some dog pile Chevy or other such nonsense. :P

Lately I've been lucking into some pretty decent 2nd gen stuff, so I've been moving round truck stuff, since the 1st gen stuff seems to be premium $$ for clapped out bodies.

 Thanks!

Actually, the front needs to come up. They have a pretty good frown. The rear is sitting higher with the Kelderman. Need to let some air out of it, to level it a bit. Had it that way for a while because of having the 235 rubber up front that came on the alum rims and 215 on the steel rears. Now, with 235s all around, it needs a bit less air. ;) Will be putting the rear springs from the donor on as well. The current ones don't have much arch left, even empty.

Got some stuff done tonight. Front shocks on, replaced king pin poly bushings and springs, added a steering stabilizer, right front caliper. Misplaced the bolts for the upper ends of the rear shocks, or they'd be on as well.

I hate when that happens. After over 30 years of wrenching I finally have a system so I don't lose bolts and parts, and now I have little helpers that lose them for me. What are ya gonna do?

I use coffee cans, plastic or metal. Unless it's a short project, then I just lay them near where they came out. If it's a trans removal, I just throw them in a pile because I know where they all go by feel, I don't even need to look at them anymore. Plus there's only about 6 left holding it in anyways.
