Diesel repair shop might not be the best idea. There is going to be a lot of shops downsizing that worked on the pipeline rigs.

Sorry to hear Dman.

Dodgefreak, you don't want that. You need a new compressor housing. Dumbazz cutoff the part the boot slips over.

No big deal. Turn a new end and tig it on. That cover is made from 6xxx alumin so you can get the correct alloy tig rod.

Also got another flat on my truck. Other side this time. Didn't catch it quick enough this time though, so I could jack it up very high with the little jack the truck came with

So I get off work early today and go to leave but the truck just cranks. It finally started and I noticed it dripping fuel from the return line. I tried to tighten it and the dam return line breaks off the fitting. I got it fixed for now but I need the return line from the injection pump to the rear of the head where it It's I guess. Does anyone have one or know where o can get one?

My sixth sense is knowing when diesel power is in the mail box. It seldom fails.

I wish I had a useful sixth sense

Stay tuned for a cmann rant.

Being the thrifty young gentleman that I am, I always try to get the cheapest fuel I can find. I downloaded the GasBuddy app. Since doing this, I've noticed a dirty trick a local gas station chain is doing. Within a linear mile on the south end of town there is a wet mill (corn processor), one gas station, a neighborhood, and another gas station of the same chain. This is west to east. The station next to the wet mill currently has diesel $0.21 higher than its sister station. WTF? Screw the farmer, why don't you. They need space with a truck and trailer and therefore have one choice for fuel, so jack up the price huh?

It probably doesn't bug anyone else, but I think its BS. I'm boycotting them.

DMan, carry a short 4x4 block you can =drive up on so you don't have to jack so much.
Andy, push a piece of hose over the line for a temporary fix. I don't know anybody that has a spare, sorry.
Caleb, I use GB all the time here, and scan my whole route when I go to SOP and MM's place to see where it's cheapest to fill up. I'm sure all those guys know it's more expensive there. But it wouldn't hurt if you passed the word to all your farmer buddies, it will get around I'm sure.

There are actually two pieces of hose over it. It broke off flush with the end of the fitting so I put a small piece over the little line then a bigger piece over that hose and the end of the fitting. Its holding but I need to replace it. Does anyone know if Cummins offers it?

Bed space is already at a premium hineyman

An L tank would be handy all summer though with as much hay as we do. Dad used to have a tank here at the house. There is red fuel at the farm, but some people frown on burning that stuff.
