I win the battle with the weight police ! !

Postby 1STGENFARMBOY » Thu Aug 25, 2011 1:26 pm

No big life changing news but i put my truck on the scale today after the conversion,
no idea what it weighed before.

6,300 even, i guess thats why theres no way to hook the tires to the pavment, :x so with my
camper on i should still be under 11,000, (HURRAY) that means the weight police on RV.net
can't arrest me.

Well thats if i combine the front and rear axel raiting... not shure if thats how it's done.

cause you know if you drive your truck thats heaveier that the door tag rating your worse that
a crack head.

I guess a tailgate might add 100lb or so but that was me in it and 3/4 tank off fuel 6,300 on the nose
at a scale at a recycling center. by the way i tip the scale at 190

i come in at 225 :| i weighed mine at work on our scale, but i dont know how accurate it is. when people(myself included) run across it at 30 mph in a 80k vehical,it seems to knock it out of wack for a little bit.

Dar, weigh it with the camper, nosy people want to know! (it sounds more truthful than "inquiring minds")

My ride used to be 6200 with the auto.

Now with the 'rag and twins it sits around 6700. :(

Does anybody know why some of these trucks, (like Alex's) would be almost 1,000lb more than mine,
i understand a rag weighs more than a 518 but geez, i don't understand.
