Well, since it's SUCH a POS, you might as well bring it on over, I'm sure it can be made to fit in my scrap pile.

Jon, I''m sure he enjoyed hearing that at 7:30 in the morning while I beat on the side of his truck and he was sleeping.
Andrew, it sure is a little rougher than the other one. The seats are twins though!
Did he have to clean the green one after pulling the orange one? Didn't want to catch whatever the orange one has? :alien:

Trust me, if it'll make more power, Andrew will find out how.

I don't have it goin yet, I really havn't screwed with it much, just unloaded it and gave it a preliminary hose down to get the green scum off of it.

I never actually heard you beat on the door of the truck, when I'm out I'm out.
The seat on the nicer one was actually decent when I got it, I'm planning on getting it redone before it gets cold though.

Yes you can turn em up 8)

am I the only one that thinks one of those engines with a turbo and the pump "deflowered" in a CVT geo metro would get amazing fuel economy for an in town commuter?

Yep.

You can get 4cyl VW IDI's for a couple hundred bucks. Turbo and manifold another $200-$400 depending on what you want (aftermarket, newer model OEMs, or original OEMs), pump tuning, clutch, would probably be about the same as one of these.

We've got an older 231 Massey Ferguson that has a 3cyl non-turbo Perkins in it. I swear that thing makes fuel when you run it. It would be a great motor to put in a ranger or something and putt around town in, if it wasn't so heavy and have a tractor bellhousing/clutch.
