Pullits got a new"er" pile

Postby pulltilbroke » Wed Nov 09, 2011 7:43 pm

Well picked me up a 93 W350 Ext cab dually 5spd today. Its rough but the price was real right.

Plans as of now Include a NV4500, The Bradford bed off the old mans truck, The usual pump tweaks a small set of sticks and to clean it up an fix a few issues.

Yeah it should be, the cab is rust free but it does have some cracks in the back but thats not a big deal to me. Its got 372,000 miles and it runs and drives great but it does seem a little low on power but it has been a while since I drove a stock one. This one is also a little fat on the scale weighed it tonight and she tipped it just shy of 8000. Brakes will need immediate attention.

Yup, lack of rust is huge. If my 93 wasn't a pile of rust the rebuild would have been 10 percent of what it was.

Oh yeah, the bed's gotta go, that thing makes the truck look way worse than it is.

Good looking otherwise. 8)

Is that a factory tach on it?

If it's oil i don't know, but my daughter's 99 Z71 kept on having wet carpet and i looked for a leak in the windshield,
door witherstrip, everywhere couldn't find it, till finally i crawled under it and there was a small rusted hole in the
floor and when you would drive in the rain it would just soak the carpet.

Fn awesome that the tach works. On the grill, salvage some DODGE letters from some busted up grills in a junyard or the like and epoxy them to this one. It's what I did to my W350. Most people can't tell.

Nice looking truck. I found one around me with no trans but old lady doesn't want to let it go just yet.

Not bad Andrew. Now I know why you haven't been on site, overtime to pay for the truck! lol Looks like the cab needs a hoeing out and a new seat.
