Tom, I know, I'm just jealous because I'm too lazy to wet sand and rub mine out. ;)

Brian, I'm a legend too, but it's mostly in my own mind!

I'm Eric, 33yrs old. I started out as an oil change jockey in my teens then "moved up" to a tire jockey, probably still in my teens. I was a Chrysler tech for several years until I got sick of half-assing jobs to make decent flat rate income. Now that I'm out of that I enjoy working on cars again.

I'm happily married with no kiddos, unless you count dogs, I think they count. My wife and I have been together well over ten years but only married for a few. Don't tell her I don't know how many, I just act like I knew at every anniversary.

Now I work at a shop that does custom work, way more fun than fixing broken LH body Chryslers. I've been there for 7 or so years. Occasional fun stuff mixed with the usual. Fun stuff includes a new 6.7 powerstroke with the urea tank turned into a water methanol tank, etc...

Summer time I autocross an old Volvo 142 with the wife, ya she drives too. The car does quite well, sure I could follow the easy formula of a miata, mini, subaru, or the rest but its way more fun to turn faster laps in a 73 Volvo.

I want to go do track time with it but driving it home afterwards is impractical. I needed a truck. I've liked the looks of the 1st gens and a customer came in with a club cab w350 that he had to sell because he bought a new Ford. Worked out well for me.

I'm pretty new to the 12 valve so excuse my dumb questions.

I'm 27 years old, married and have two kids. I'm a part-time farmer working on becoming a full-time farmer over the next couple years. I run a small grass-fed beef and broiler operation. We sell direct to consumer. I've had a CDL for 7 years? now. I drove a semi for a little while and worked delivering 8' to 14' wide storage buildings into peoples back yards with pickup trucks. I have lots of experience loading pickups far past what the manufacturer intended. I think the largest building I delivered was 14' wide by 38' long that sits about 13.5' high on the trailer. I've been interested in stuff with motors for as long as I can remember. My first truck was a 64' Chevy C-10. I restored it and then promptly beat the crap out of it using it like a real truck. I sold it and bought a Dodge. I'm on my fourth Dodge now (2nd diesel). On a scale of 1 to 10 i'm about a 6 or 7 on mechanic skills. I do most of my own stuff including the occasional auto trans rebuild. I'm one class away from an Associates Degree at my local college. I started working full time in my dads construction business when I was thirteen. I can build just about anything as a result and use construction as a fall back whenever I need some money.

Most of you know a little bit about me, but what the heck.

I'm Parker, I'll be 21 in July. I'm practically married to Dallas, we've been dating since March of '08 and had a Son on April 28th 2010. Obviously we didn't decide we wanted a child at this age, but it happened and it's been great so far. I'm currently going to a technical college for CNC Machine and hopefully within the year I will get a job in my field rather than the crappy job I have right now. I bought my 1st Gen as my first vehicle and I've been hooked ever since.

wait.... what did I miss? 21 and you just bought a house? ...nice!

My wife did the same thing when she was 21. Rented the upstairs, then had rental income to show to help buy a second house when she was 23.
