Mark, didn't you build the "Damncharger" or did you buy it?

Not a very practical vehicle either.

I believe he was talking about the name "Cummer" sounding gay.

Tell some people on DTR, RamChargerCentral and some other places, about their Cummins Ramchargers and they'll laugh their asses off at you.

Buying a rusted out POS in Canada, then rebuilding it, when you can just buy a nice clean one here in the States and bring it up, isn't practical, either.

DAMNCHARGER was useful for it's intended purpose, to pull a trailer, not to ride around as a toy, IE, I USE what I build, it's NOT a TOY, just to blow money on.
My idea was to actually USE it, not to have a "Hey, look at me, I spent a shtiwad of cash because I CAN" type of thing.

Oh yeah, I had all of what I actually sold it for (Well under 4 grand), into it, so it wasn't real expensive, either.

Mark.

Sounds like someone pissed in Marks Cheerio's

Mark he is building this to be a middle finger to the "Status Symbol". Ken is not a yuppie either like most other Civilian Hummer owners. He does not act like he is better than everybody else He works God Dam hard running his own fab shop buisness and if he has the money to "Blow" on a project like this so fcukin be it. Don't hate someone cause there succsesful in life.

Its is a 93 the first year of the "Civilian" H1 version and like Ike said the only difference is a little churched up interior and they aren't that comfy either.

Yeah, he knows the gearing is gonna be steep but it should be awesome for its intended purpose which won't be just cruising up the hi way.

:D :D Looks like a cool project. I have seen a Duramax powered H1, but never a Cummins powered one

Great, you guys are gonna get this thread locked too huh?

I think you should call it a Hummins, sounds nicer than a cummer. ;)

I think it should have been locked for the obvious profanity filter bypass in the thread title. How dare you.

I will agree that a better name could be tried for it. Even if he does have a real H1 in the parking lot he's going to get slapped by every chick he asks to come see it.

Yep,the name needs changing. Mr Toombs has a good one ;)

I don't see why a hummer with a cummins in it couldn't be considered USEFULL, I bet all I own that it pulls a trailer just fine. It maybe a 8x10 with a mower on top,but that's still a trailer

Hummins if you must make a non homo name.

Really nice vehicles. My uncles buddy has one with the 6.5L in it. Not a yuppie at all. He uses it to pull his toy, a pro nitro funny car.

I didn't call the Cummins Hummer useless.

Just stating the hypocrisy in the comment. No need to get worked up over it.

The dual rear wheels is the main factor for my thinking. Not the Cummins in the charger.

i agree with mark this guy is a yuppie and if we werent hippies for calling him a yuppie we would not be hippies as we are! it is a status symbol for those that choose it to be, as holding kings and queens above us, if it wasnt for people choosing to put things and people out of there reach or above them, them things wouldnt be there-----------------------------------------------------------.

hummins does sound better, they probably were all drunk when they came up with it, and had no sleep, and really didnt agree on that name!
