we have several johnny poppers :D have the whole M series collection ( M , MI orange edition with original side mount sickle, MC, MT ) 1938 unstyled G, 1937 unstyled A on steel all original, another 38 A sittin in the weeds, 70 diesel pony start, 630 wide front, had a 730 standard diesel pony start but sold it :'( ( worst mistake ever ) dad and i are currently looking at a 830 diesel pony start diesel :D pretty cheap needs lots of work though. but were a deere family as well :)

Well... She Runs! feels really strong.. will find out for sure on friday at the first pull. Now I just have to figure out something with the battery and starter setup so I don't have to bump start this thing all the time.
1990 W350 4X4 NOW INTERCOOLED 5-speed. Boost/Pyro. Few light tweaks to the pump. Now a dually with an aluminum flatbed!!

I also had some tractor fun this today. Had our Local Camp Creek Threshers show this weekend. I'll post a few pics Tomorow.

What year is it Pete? It's one of the oldest I've seen,I'd guess anyhow

It's a '47. JD styled their tractors in '39, but the orchard tractors didn't get it until they changed to the numbered series in 1950 ish. It's a regular "B" orchard model, or "BO". There were a few made from "BR"s, or "B" Regular tread tractors, but very few.
That blade is very very rare. Nobody around here has ever seen one, and the guy from the JD museum said he's only seen 1 and it didn't go straight, it was a V blade only. There is a video, the Lindeman Story, and there is a pic in there of a crawler with that blade and a winch mounted over the clutch drum that they were trying to sell to the army in WWII to drop out of planes to make airbases in the jungle with. They didn't get the contract, Cat did. The guy from the museum is trying to find more info on the blade for me. He was pretty excited when I sent him an e-mail with pics of the original receipt and the packing slip from the factory. :mrgreen:
