Well Me an my buddy Dan went out a cut up a couple loads of wood to get through the rest of the winter. Figured it'd be a good time to snap a few pics.

Back the the intended purpose of this thread... I scored some good Hedge and Cherry from work. They were going to pile up and torch it :shock:

I guess it's a midwestern thing. It is a tree and I've always called it Hedge. Some call it Osage Orange, it's alot like Mulberry, but it has those funny green bumpy apples on it

We call those hedge apples, or osage orange, the wood in those makes great pool sticks

Yes, I couldn't come up with that yesterday :lol: Are those poisionous to cows? I suspect so.We had a steer bloat up and die after it ate one. I've always wondered if it was the hedge apple or something else
