We tried the feather but haven't had any luck yet. I'm positive we will get one, its always a learning curve when hunting anything different. The nice part about coyote hunting is I can work into the night and then go out. A new light is needed badly any suggestions? I'd like a red light that I can keep on for awhile without it dying on me.

Andrew will likely be on with an "expanded" road report. In short, what we went after wasn't as hoped, so it got left behind, but Andrew had a lot of fun driving!
hate it when that happens went on a 4 hour roadtrip to look at a sposively good running good shifting minor interior damage dodge, and the thing had no dash the seat was half gone, and you couldnt hardly go down the road past 30mph afor it shook you outa the seat, lol
1990 dodge W250 cummins 6 speed. 4in diamond eye, a turbo,and a pump Under construction...
Other than driving for 29 hours straight with only piss breaks and fuel stops it was a great time, Kind of a piss poor deal for Mark though.
I actually think I'm gonna go back to that area and do some camping later this year. I might have to rig some cruise on the old 90 though. My ankle still hurts from rockin the pedal.
I'm just gonna coppy and paste a post I made on another site.

Briger Teton National forest.
Pulled off for a little photo op
Stopped for a Samich and some Tylenol. This was also where we found out Teton Pass was closed and had to take another route. Nice lady worked there, Anna was her name.
More snowy fun Mountain roads along the Snake river.

Actually, that gauge monitors his fuel pressure. It was like riding with a kid, only the kid was driving, through the mountains. Apparently Andrew hasn't done much traveling, or even visiting in "the hills", he was like a kid in a candy store, rubbernecking this way while driving that way, bending forward to look UP a mountainside, kinda' amusing.
It was pretty country rolling through there, with all the snow.
As far as the trip being "worth it" to me, yeah, it was worth it in the end.
That's right...I remember seeing that when he was at SOP. It is very beautiful country out west, I did some trucking for the Iowa Guard in 2001/02 and we hauled some equipment back and forth to Idaho, I had never been out that way before, it was great! Glad you two had a good time, and made it back in one piece!

Glad you guys made it back ok. Looks like the roads were chitty. Awesome country though. I drive like that, must be a family trait. I spend about 20% of the time looking ahead.
Mark, what happened, Suburban a POS?
pete
Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

It wasn't "Terrible", but I was really looking for a nicer one, though I won't be looking for another! It had a very rusty driver's rocker, rust in the driver's rear quarter, near the bumper and all 4 doors had some bad rust on the undersides, as well as the seam sealer was really popping out on them. Not to mention it looked pretty grungy inside.
It probably would have been better to ask for more (and better) pics, but I know how I get when people grill me for pics on stuff, so I hate to do it to others. That cost me a lot of fuel over foolish pride.
Funny thing is, the guy was very quick to work out a refund on the deal and wasn't at all pissy about it. I think he knew this was going to happen and figured it was wasting his time to argue about me wasting my fuel money.
Thinking back, I really wish I'd gotten the number on that Crew Cab with the camper.
I did a snowy trip from winter park down to silverton a while back, snowy roads just like that, yet i was in a Jetta on some crazy un-guardrailed roads

I have ran Hwy 550 in and out of Silverton before, it's quite the experience I don't know how some of those fellas who run big truck through there do it, that takes some grit!
