It's still going, but we've accumulated 3-4". I haven't measured or heard, but I'd say closer to 3". It's supposed to pick up again tonight.

I feel for you guys, Caleb.
In the last storm we got about 2" of rain, then 3-4" of snow on top of that and it's pretty much shut me down, except for heavy bulky parts, like engines, that I can move and load quickly with the forklift, in this cold. :/

Yeah, I'm a big, fat PUSS. :alien:

I feel for Bryan Moeller, he routinely runs cattle and hogs in and out of 18 wheeler trailers in this crappy weather. :(

Up here in the Ft Wayne area, they were calling for anywhere from 8 to 14 inches. We have 2. Didnt stop everybody from freaking out though. Idiots, don't they know this happens every year about this time???

In my defense, I was busy as hell right before it came! :P
Oh! Wait, you weren't calling ME the idiot, were you?

I better shut up, and go out and dig some 2nd gen dually wheels out of the snow for someone else's "emergency".

It rained most of the day but we got about a inch of heavy wet snow. I was told Indy got quite a bit.

Failure to plan on your part doesn't constitute an emergency on my part. My boss loves telling people that.

I've heard that before.
My counter to that is usually, "Yeah, but I made the money that you didn't on the job, because you were too lazy to help out".

Do you realize how much of the "scratch my back" crap I get, then it never comes back in return?
And you wonder why I'm a cranky person. :P

He came and got the wheels already, and I didn't have to go far to find them, plus it's a few more $$ I didn't plan on getting.
He even dug them out of the snow and paid the going rate, so I quit complaining about the cold.

The Indy news station made it sound bad. It's stopped now here in Lafayette. The highway department is grossly under equipped for stuff like this around here. They'll never get ahead and it'll freeze tonight making a mess tomorrow morning.

we got 12 inches last night, blowing 20-30mph from the north.

got some very nice drifts, left the truck in the barn and drove the subi.
that thing is unbelievable in the snow, and parts are not as hard to find.

In the last six hours or so we've gotten over a foot, and it hasn't let up yet. Good news is, it is suppose to be windy tomorrow. Even better news is I get to drive a bunch of engine parts up to the machine shop 50 miles north. I like it when you plow/snow blow and by the time you get it parked and throw a log in the stove its blown right back in.
