trans is all the way gone, only way it will move is in low range (to maximise the little trans that is left) and even then it wont do much more then atempt to roll. dont know where im going to go with that yet, should I spend money and get a better than stock TQ converter? I want something that is not a pain to drive because its a slug, but its never gona get anything more than maybe just some timing adjustments to maximize fuel economy, so im not looking for billet goodies or any of that junk
the mechanicals are very very clean, frame is in great shape, even the brake and fuel lins arnt a rotted mess.
the cab on the other hand.... needs full rockers on both sides, inner and outer, and its going to need fenders due to some bubbeling through. Going to peel the carpet up to see what the floor looks like sooner than later, dosnt look to bad.
story is, the onl man that owned it used to was the whole truck, even the underside, but I guess if the rockers are gona go... they are gona go. its surprising how some spots are just gone, yet everything else is beautiful.
you could eat lunch off the valve covers
and the interior looks like no one ever sat in it.
3000$ is a killer price for a truck like this around here, some of you may think its funny but even with rotted rockers and fenders its pretty "clean" in my book. Im happy with it, not really looking for superb MPG's, just something that can occasionally tow, occasionally make a long trip, and be driven every single day of the week
had to pull the front trim rings off the rims to get it on the trailer
