New Toy

Got a new toy/daily driver this past weekend..

2001 TJ
175000 mi
4cyl 5 sp
needs a rear diff so I got it cheap...

Now... why do I keep getting myself into these projects... as if I didn't have enough going on :roll: ... haha

Good find! I like little 4x4's, Jeeps are fun, but I love my Suzuki Samurais'...so much that I have three of 'em :roll:

Well I guess the jeep project got moved up a bit.. some chick pulled out in front of me on my way up to school on monday. I was in the dakota... NOT the diesel... the insurance co is probably going to total the Dakota... and at $4.25 a gallon the diesel is going to be a little expensive to drive over 80 miles a day..

Finally got done with the spring semester at school and had some time this week... The jeep made the first trip down the road last night.. Ended up just needing bearings in the rear diff. All the gears were in good shape still. Sounds all nice and smooth now, not like the axle is going to come through the floor boards. Must've done something right :jumpsmile:
