Multicolor is just temporary around here. I painted a truck flat black once, and then after it dried for a couple weeks, I got it muddy and could never wash the stains off. Can you do a better job painting then we did in my buddy's driveway? It looked really nice until after I got it dirty once.

I dunno buddy, the dually turned out nicely, but as Michael said, the stains from mud can be a pain in the arse to remove. I vote........ spray bomb it! You did a really good job on the dually and it looks pretty good :thumright:

I say leave it alone. It's distinctive and it has character :)

If you do bomb it, wet sand and spray clear on it. Then wet sand again. We did this to my brother 6.Oh no's front bumper. Dirt washes off.

Still unsure if you should paint though...

I wouldn't paint it, but if you do don't make it the same color as the dually. It'll be boring as hell to look out your front door and see them.

Can you afford to shoot real automotive paint? Or at least paint with hardener?

I believe TSC still sells single-stage tractor paint.
You'd be really surprised how good that stuff can lay down on sheetmetal and it's relatively inexpensive, as paints go.

Personally, I'd leave it alone, but put the gray cab on it that I sold you, for more contrast. :D

The cab's one of the best parts. I love the reversed colors between the cab and the door. 8)

I would leave it alone. When ya throw a decent coat of paint on it, you'll be worried about none stop, and when it looks good is when it gets f'ed up. At least that is how it works for me. That's why my heap looks the way it does, 1 coat of rustolium makes touch ups easy.
