Last week the brown truck dropped off what I used to only dream of. As soon as the truck left, I burned off my old tires (video soon) Finally got the money together and here's what it is!
Tires are BFG Mud Terrain KM2 255 85-16. I think these are the perfect size tires for a stock height 4x4 dodge. They clear all around, big and skinny tires. Size roughly translates to 33.5" by 10". Turned all the way, there is a 1/2" of space between the tire and drag link. Tires are surprisingly very quiet, handle nicely and not only do they look awesome and make my truck look like a military truck but it actually rides LESS like a military truck!Probably rides nicer as the old tires only weighed 20lbs a piece and these weigh roughly 50lbs a piece.
Alright, enough talk...
Belts showing after the burnout...made some weird sounds on the way to my buddies house to mount new ones...
Fronts done.
Drag link:
Of course!
Flexing out. Left rear tire just barely off the ground. Not bad for stock suspension.
All clean!
