With all the different screws and bolts in a gutted cab, I bought a poly container that has a bout 24 compartments in it. Can keep them seperated and easier to sort when I'm putting it back together. :D

I know this old guy (over 70) that has been an exclusive 700R trany guy from the first one, i have been there
when he breaks them down, and throws 3-4 in a pile, never keeping any of them seperated....balls rolling
all over the place springs, pins, i guess that shows you how well he knows them eh.

Dar, I'm glad you clairfied the ( old guy as over 70 ) makes me still feel young !!! Just swapped the 518 for a 47RH with a SunCoast tripple disk. Besides porting the head the RH is the most noticeable change I've made to the truck as measured by my seat of pants dyno, when it locks up the ole truck really takes off.

We don't allow thread hijacking in 1stgen, Bill. As punishment you'll have to come over and rewire my entire truck, then we'll consider your misdeed forgiven.

Well that, then whatever poor moeller decides would be fitting for his personal damages.

Taco, I've already got a deal going with Bryan. As far as wireing your truck, long ago in my youth I used to work on missle systems for my Uncle Samuel so I guess I could screw it up as good as most. But southern Ohio is just sooooo far away.

It's closer than northern Ohio.

I'm not sure that's actually the rule, but I'm constantly doing wiring on my truck and I'm constantly derailing threads so I figured it had to be more than a coincidence.

Looks like you've got your geography down and I can't blame you a bit for trying to get someone to square away the wireing.

Well, to put it back on track, I put nearly another 1000 miles on the ol' 93 this weekend. :D Doesn't see much action during the week, but been making it up lately on the weekends. Really only had it on the road since early June, and put close to 4k on it already.

Turbo drain bolt worked loose again and lost nearly a total of 2 gallons of oil. Had to snug it up before I left as well. Grabbed some extra oil before I left, and kept an eye on it. Topped it off as needed. Think the one bolts, or the threads in the hole is bad. Hope it's just the bolt. If not, I'll have to use one of my core H1Cs to put the guts in from this one.

Throw some thread locker on that thing. I just use the highest strength, since if I'm messing with drains the turbos coming off anyways.

Thread locker is what I was planning on trying first. Then go from there.

Found that my coolant is getting foamy. :/ Will do a retorque on the head and see what happens. Other-wise, it looks like it's time for a headgasket. :(
