My "new" 1993 project/daily driver! :D

42187 and 42188 are the 2 options I cam up with, from various sites. Including Dorman. 1 kit includes enough for all 4, and the other is just the 2 of them.

The passenger side door OPENS! Pulled the seat out to swap the donor seat in (other has some broken springs under it), and had enough room to get in there with a long skinny screwdriver to pop it open. The latch was gummed up REALLY BAD! Got it cleaned up enough and use chain lube on it. opens and closes like a new one. Stays shut, without any rattles either! I'm a happy camper. Wife ought to like that too.

sounds like your making quite a bit of progress with the truck. hope all is well. i see you finally bought a crew like you've wanted to do for some time now. gna swap the motor n trans out of the 93 to the crew cab? anyhow glad to see your gettin it fixed up. good luck

Well, the door latch acted up the following I posted in here the last time. So, having a junk pass door on my Cummins donor, I stole it out of that one, and put it in the 93. Working good now.

Looks like the fuel pump did the trick. Truck hasn't laid down on me again. 'Bout 1000 miles on it, since I put the pump on, not that long ago. The extra power is nice. Kinda cool (and also pathetic), that this old girl feels almost as strong as the 99 I had, with an Edge Juice w/ Attitude on it with the wire tapped. I suppose the 93 having 3.55 gears, vs 4.10s helps a bit in the butt-o-meter dept.

Nahhh, it ain't the gears. It's the vastly superior VE pump that does it!

VP was junk, too. Had 0psi going to it when i bought the truck. Sure that helped.
