Damn Deer

Postby pulltilbroke » Sun Jun 24, 2012 8:24 am

Well on my way home from a pull last night i splattered a deer with my 90. Bent the bumper and the tie rod other than that and a big bloody mess nothing is too bad. Hit it just left f the center n the drivers frame horn, I think thats what save the sheet metal.

Welcome to the club Andrew, I have hit too many with the 92 in the year and a half that I have owned it. Every time I blast one, I have to tweak the bumper/brushguard back into place. I have gotten lucky as I haven't had to replace anything...yet.

I've been lucky with deer so far. I hit one about a year and a half ago but I was able to slow the truck down to about 10mph, so I just got a little hair in the grille and nothing else. I see at least 10 deer every night around here so I'm surprised I haven't had many close calls, but you see them dead on the road all the time because they're everywhere.

That was grossly cool! Glad it didn't hurt the truck too bad, a chain and a yank it'll be good as new! ;) So did you get venison steaks and such to get even with it?

Pete, you treed me

Someone complained about the last pic. It got removed. I'm not sure how touchy your fish and game agency is, but I'd have stripped the back straps and tried to salvage some of it. Hey, it's already dead right

When I looked before, it said "violates terms" of something. The deer was the one that was gone before

It happened to be a pick of what was left of the deer,or of its remainig sections. PETA had it removed, somewhere a vegetarian tossed their salad for s second time
