Anyone live near a Bosch shop?

Postby The_Head » Mon Jul 09, 2012 3:37 pm

I keep reading about these mythical (to me) Bosch shops where you can get injection pump parts. I was hoping a fellow member here lived by one and could hook me up with those little rubberized o-rings that go around the AFC banjo bolt. Could also use a new FSS plunger.

I have a Scheid Diesel 10 miles away...

Is there no where to order stuff like that online?

Not that I have found. I'd be all over it. I order OEM Honda parts all the time, but it seems anything Cummins (or Bosch) and there is a lock down.

I have used ones (o-rings and plunger) that are in good shape if you want them.

I didn't know that. I took my proximity to a performance Cummins/Bosch for granted. Heck I picked the guy's brain that builds the 14mm VEs for half an hour when I was trying to figure out what was up with my pump last year  Let me know if I can help

Replacement ones are brass and or aluminum washers. Found in Bosch VE seal kit DGK121.

I have one not far from me. In fact I have the rebuild kit sitting in my garage that I've been pulling parts out of as needed. Send me a pic of the parts you need and I may be able to just mail them to you.

Schieds will ship world wide. All you have to do is call. The people on the phones normaly know the trade. I normaly deal with the Lafayette, IN
store. The phone person is Less. He has helped me many times from trouble shooting to ordering parts.

Les is great. I deal with him as well as Debbie (Scheid) and Brian. I've even picked Doug the VE guru's brain a time or two
