New truck, need gauges, wheres the cheapest?

Postby bgilbert » Fri Jul 13, 2012 9:16 pm

I bought a 'new' truck. A 93 D350 getrag, single cab dually. A fully functional LE truck. I've been wanting a single cab dually for awhile, settled on a D model  . But mostly wanted a working AC and cruise truck. All options, all work :D . Needs some paint on the roof and hood, but otherwise it's great.

Anyways, I need a boost and pyrometer. I'm an Isspro fan and want another set of EV series gauges, along with the a-pillar mount. Seems like I've always bought them from Geno's, but looks like their prices are up since I last bought them.. 5-6 years ago HA!

Here's the pyro I want: http://www.genosgarage.com/ISSPRO-R3607 ... S-R3607TR/

Boost: http://www.genosgarage.com/ISSPRO-R5653 ... SS-R5653R/

Anyone know of anything cheaper, substantially etc? Or is this about the going rate for these two gauges?

Can't help you with the gauges (I bought my Isspro's from Geno's years ago too) but I just wanted to say that's a beautiful truck. I just posted in another thread the best looking truck out there is a regular cab, 2wd, dually. 8)

Sharp truck you found. Are you going to leave it 2wd or convert it?

I've always wanted to have a crew cab CTD 4x4. I've been running the crew CTD converted for 5-6years now. I finally have something else that can pull my trailer so maybe the crew might get converted to 4x4 now 8) . Of course that means I need ANOTHER truck, a 4x4 donor.

If I ever need any more gauges, I may try these that Pete was talking about.

I have been thinking about this gauge... Don't really know much about it but... for the price.. man you can't hardly beat it

They also have them in Boost, Pyro, Fuel press. (which is probably the one I would get)

EDIT:
Found it..

GS is a crap shoot. Their pressure senders have known issues. The FP gauge I have in the KW is goofy sometimes. Connections are all tight. The pressure gauge also does NOT ground threw the threads either. Have to run a separate ground wire for it.

You guys might check with Tom (redneckroot) on gauge prices. He can get autometer and isspro for sure. I know he just put some more parts on my front porch this week. He is great to deal with and an all around good guy in my book.
