Bad luck again

Postby redneckroot » Mon Jul 23, 2012 9:04 pm

Just got back from vacation and roughly $1,000 later.

On the way up towing the boat blew a tire, took out the rim and boat fender. Got to deal with the state troopers since some wonderful on looker called them saying it rolled over which it didn't.
Finally get across the Canadian border launch the boat hit a rock there goes the prop.
Find a prop search all over for tires up there and on the way home couldn't find any that anyone had in stock. Drove home, 1/2 mile from my house other tire craps out, lucked out and didn't hurt that fender.
Get home and the pressure tank for my water well is pissing out the side spent the next day buying a new one and fixing the moronic plumping in the house.

Its been a great vacation.

Tom, I hope it isn't coming this way! I wrote a check to the fuel company last week. Morons there didn't read the check, and got me for $721 instead of $221. I know I write bad, but underneath it almost clearly said, "two hundred, twenty-one and somechange". Good thing that was the last to clear this week. At least you were only a 1/2 mile from home, you could drop the trailer and get parts.

As for the plumbing, make sure you change the washer hoses every 4-5 years too. Don't ask how I know. I also know an inch of water is cold to step into at 3 am. ;)

Oh I had to replace the washer about three weeks ago. It has been a good couple of months.
