Found some really cheap oil filters

Postby Diesel » Fri Aug 24, 2012 7:41 pm

So I always try and run the Baldwin BT7349 when I can. I just found them for $5.11 SHIPPED! I just ordered 2 to see what happens. If they show up then I think the two of them cost less than 1 MOPAR/CUMMINS from the parts store.

Wow they have our fuel filters (the kind that doesn't run the silly water in fuel sensor) really cheap too: http://www.zorotools.com/g/00093006/k-G ... pping_Feed

Oh by the way I have no affiliation to these guys I was just randomly shopping for some filters and found them.

The fuel filter DOES have a rubber plug in the bottom next to the drain valve for a WIF sensor. Just takes a smaller one than our stock one.

Not it doesn't have anything but a drain at the bottom for water.

Expand the pic of the filter and look again. It is left of the drain. The rubber plug is there. Takes a sensor with an o-ring.

Nah that's not the actual filter. I am running one one on my truck now. It's just a longer filter and a really heavy duty drain valve at the bottom. No more fear of blowing out the sensor from the filter.

for some reason its switching to a different filter, when you first click on it it goes to the one he's talking about but then a couple seconds later it switches to the one your talking about so your both right.

I think its just a stock picture because I have been running this filter for a good long while and its only got a huge drain valve at the bottom of the filter. Its nice and easy to grab when you want to drain the filter too.

Update: Baldwin filters are here. Look good and both oil filters were just over $10 shipped.
