What axles, tcase, and potentially trans (assuming its stock and didn't come over with the 340) would this truck have?

Would they be "good" dana 60's or the weird hub 60's? I guess I should ask: would the 60's be like what would be in a 92-93 truck?

If original, probably left hand threads on the lug nuts, drivers side and in-board drums.

Believe it or not, alot of mid 80's W350's had Dana44's under the front...and that one has one. Dana60 rear, standard lugs all around.

Was Ford the only one to use the goofy rear Dana's? My '82 w D61 had LH threads on the DS rear wheel.

Always hated that. Liked the Sterling I had in the '86 diesel better. As they say, F'ed Over Rebuilt Dodge. :P The TTB was a POS idea, too. Should've had a solid D60 under it.

trans would be a 4 speed, probably a np435. the 340 isnt stock as they last made them in 1973. i would guess it to have a 208 tcase. of course, this is all assuming somebody hasnt changed that along with the motor.

If it was 60 front I'd consider getting it but I'm not a huge fan of the 44 front in a full size.

Apparently, it was hit and miss for 60's up front, crew cabs got them, and so did a select few W350's. 60's didnt show up on all of them till a few years later...
