On the plus side, it may give the rest of us a chance to catch up with Pete's post count while his electricity is out. :P

I think he's already allowing that opportunity,he's not been posting a lot, least not as much. Arthritis might be affecting his girly man hands :P

I slowed down while I was thinking about what to post for my 7k post. Finally said the heck with it.
Tomorrow about 5pm it's supposed to start getting bad here. I don't think it will be as bad as the a-hole news people say it is. It's kinda panic central some places. Wife went to get groceries and said some shelves were empty, friend on FB said where she went for groceries the people were rude and nasty, and then Wally World was mobbed too. I have gas for the generator, and the truck has over 1/2 tank, and 4 cords of wood in the house and beer. I don't care what happens. ;)

It's pretty-much a non-event at my house. Been cloudy and breezy. 25 miles or so to the east you run into the rain. At this point though, things are calming down as the storm moves north.

Pete, I'd be one to plan for a long-winded power outage issue. It's been my experience that after a week, people start getting . .. ..well, . . . . like people.

Just so it's been said: keep your arms close at hand. ;)

It finally started raining about 4pm. It got a little breezier as the day went on, but not bad. Now it's raining and I think the news said about 20mph winds an hour ago. We are only supposed to get 1-2 inches of rain total thru wednesday. The wind will be the worst tonite 60-70mph until about 6-7 am, then tomorrow it may be about 20-30mph again.

At work we were talking about coming in if the power is out. It's bad enough standing around all day with nothing to do, but in the dark will suck!

Glad you made it ok Dave. 8)

Yeah its a pretty good time, baby sitting the sump pump. I have more then two inches of standing water on most of my lawn. Taking the day off tomorrow to make sure the basement doesn't flood. The beer is cold and the generator will power enough of the shop to half function.

Shoot, we got nothin'! Only about a 1/2" of rain and 46mph top wind speed overnight. I saw 1 tree down and it looked rotted inside. The worst of it went by to the west. Where Tom lives!

Yeah it wasn't that bad. We did get a lot of rain but not to many downed trees or anything so all is well. It was calm enough to even go bow hunting today.
