Anyone know how I could add an AUX input to my factory radio

Postby Diesel » Sat Nov 24, 2012 6:49 pm

I would love to be able to play pandora through my phone in my truck. I hate aftermarket headunits. Any way to just wire in a 3.5mm standard headphone jack?

Get an RFI transmitter, last one I bought was at Walmart. It might have been 10$

Mine has a tape player in it, so I'll see if it works or not. I do have a couple of cassette car adapters, if I can find them. Otherwise, I HATE transmitters.

Back in my Jeep Comanche days there was a way to solder in a connector and then tune the radio to a station that is silent. Then you have a pandora machine that looks 1991. What I meant was if anyone can guide me through the hard wire procedure. Or if there is a harness out there?

Did a search, and came up with this-

http://www.scosche.com/car-audio/product/417

http://compare.ebay.com/like/4002802678 ... s&var=sbar

Not sure if it can interupt signal, if there happened to be a strong station on a selected channel, though.................
