I'm a cheap ass, no doubt

Hello, Mr. Cheapass! :P
Speaking of beds, I just picked up 2 perfectly rust free SRW ones while I was out in CA.
I'm thinking they won't sell for very much, since they each have some dent issues.
That's fine, they'll fill up with scrap and go across the scales just as well as anything else will. :D

FWIW, there's a guy locally who runs to Texas hauling beds back and he thinks a clean rustfree 1st or 2nd gen SRW bed is worth $1200.
WTF ever.

Those would be considered NTOs=New take Offs.
You most likely won't ever find an "NOS" one, those, are primered only.
Dodge didn't generally sell complete assembled beds, then as to-day, they just offered bed sides as replacements.

Another thing Dodge didn't do was send a primer-only vehicle out, the least you could get was a BIW=Body In White with limited pieces removed.

Of course, everyone knows that all Duallies were shipped sans fenders and outer duals, which were laid in the bed.
The light packages and weltings were supposedly stored in the cab, on the floor.

So how much would be fair for a rust free, straight, NO HOLES FOR A STACK bed price be?

Honestly, I think an absolutely straight and rustfree, SRW, no stack holes one IS worth $500 or $600.
That having been said, I have one with minor repairable dents for somewhat less.

Yea if it was gas, it's worth $3000, diesel with average miles $6000, and with a Cummins, it's worth $16,500. Figure that out

Hellz no! I don't want much to do with any truck newer than '97. I've worked on the newer ones and I don't want anything to do with them. :puker:
