$12,000!!!! That's why I'll never have a 4x4 5 speed. People are stupid with the prices. You can buy the same truck except 5 years newer for the same money. And you can actually find parts for them.

Have you seen the prices on OBS Power strokes? They are even crazier.

Dealers are wanting 10-12k for them with 100-200k miles. I can't say that's unreasonable. The average CL price is 8k-ish.

The difference between OBS trucks and 1st gens is OBS trucks are 5 years newer and you can actually find parts for them. And then there's all the things that come with a Ford. Good things in my opinion

They have been popping up all over in the 20's to low 30's here recently which is insane

If I were ever forced to put my 1st gen up for sale it'd probably have about a 25-30k price just so nobody would want to buy it. Then if someone tried negotiating I'd increase the price

I don't think they look too bad. I've seen worse, a guy in the tractor club painted his truck JD green and added duals to it. He has all proud and told me to go look at it. I wandered out to the parking lot and saw the diamond plate he had put around the wheel well and then some flat on the edge as a fender. From 100 feet away I thought it looked great, then when I was 20 feet away I could see the self tappers he drove thru the side of the box to hold them on.

Ain't no doubt in mind that the third one is tweaked after setting like that.
