Craigslist is the worst managed website on the internet!!

Postby BobS » Sat Dec 06, 2014 12:40 pm

Went to get on craigslist last evening to look at tools and electronic junk. I got the following message: This IP has been automatically blocked.
If you have questions, please email: blocks-b1417543855702XXX@craigslist.org

So I sent them an email as instructed. Got on earlier today and it was fine. I did a few searches and it was up and running. Went back an hour later and the same old message is back.

In yesterdays email to them I told them that I haven't placed an ad on their site since 2010. For some stupid reason I keep getting the IP address of somebody who they do not want on their system. Strangely enough I shut down my computer & modem and ended up with the same IP address that I had yesterday.

Craigslist automated blocking must be run by some of the most incompetent decision making idiots to ever sit behind a computer. Their very poor oversite on the scamming that goes on craigslist. My favorites have been the ones where you can buy a late model Dodge Cummins truck for only $2800 or the $14,000 Kabota tractor with accessories for a pricey $3200 both posted throughout the entire major cities in the USA.

Anybody else having the same problem?

But he posted the pic of the NADA value  it's gotta be worth that. I have to admit I do like what was done on the seat and door panels, that green piping looks pretty good.

That's pretty neat. Too bad there's no engine pic. Thinking its turbocharged if it can do 85, unless it's 85 downhill.

There was a little Ford Escort diesel for sale around here. It had a VE pump on it. I was considering it for a summer commuter, but other things go in the way.

One of my usual customers at work has a tempo diesel. He bought it a few years ago and drove it until the driver floor rotted so bad the seat fell through. Replacing the floor pan turned into a full restoration. Its kinda neat but i wouldnt own it.
