I hate school too. My boss wants to send me to Texas for Scania engine school. He knows I hate flying off to schools and don't wanna go. Probably have to anyways, it's a work thing.

Are we there yet? 28 or so?

I get paid to go, I'm just not real comfortable about flying and hate sitting in airports. I went to Nashville last winter, I met up with a guy from Iowa that worked for Murphy, the Deere dealer out there, and we went to the Harley dealer and did some drinking. I usually drink more when I'm gone at schools than when I'm home. I don't drink and get falling down drunk, but I keep drinking pretty steady most of the night.

new Hampshire is about as far out as I've been. I have been thinking of visiting Canada one day.

Before I die I'm moving back to Texas, around the Borne/New Bruansville(sp) area. I liked it out there. There or the outskirts of pigeon forge TN,the mountain area, away from the tourist traps. We go up there almost every year, and I usually spend one entire day getting intentionally lost as schit just to see what I find out there, lucky I've never encountered any cross eyed banjo playing kids and his shirtless, bare footed, overall wearing uncles

Have y'all ever visited somewhere you'd like to go back to stay?

I haven't really travelled a lot. I have quite a few places I'd like to go, but I just need the time and people to go with me

All the kids that I was on the same track as in high school are studying engineering of some sort in college. I graduated with a 3.55 including 8 unweighted Honors credits. Now I'm splitting time between the community college and a 4 year school doing the MET equivalent for AE. I'm that guy that doesn't study a bit and gets 25 points of extra credit on the test in my core classes. And I still don't care for school. I'd rather work my modest paying farm job than sit in a classroom any day.

Travels- Grand Marais, MN is a really beautiful place. It does not jive with my farming habits though. Southeast South Dakota is a really nice area too.

Not everyone can love school. I personally went with a career that wasn't my hobby. Too many people ending up hating their passion...

This is why I never went to school for auto/diesel mechanics.
