Pretty easy to get a manual and anyone could do it

Same can be said about a NP205!

A 2x12 seems to do the trick. Lock the tranny in 2 gears, strap it to the board and torque away.

Only 1 beer bottle in that pic? I'm ashamed of you!

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

Andrew, is that a homemade output shaft holding tool? 29 spline coupler x 1/2 drive? I like the torque wrench. I could use one like that around here lol.

Pete, But its a big damn bottle 64oz's!

Mark, With the Scotch Ale that was in that jug rated at 6.5 ABV, 64oz's of that is enough to get anyone feeling mellow.

Bill, All Jeffs tools in Jeffs garage. But the tq wrench is just a Harbor Freight 3/4" drive.

Only 64oz? You're really slipping!

What did you do to lock the 5th nut?

I found a cool thing I think will work, it was posted here, I remember the discussion about it. It's like a socket that locks on the nut and locks it to the splines of the shaft. It's about $140. Reasonable for what it does I think.

I'm actually planning on using one of those on the tranny for the dually.

That's it! It looks like a simple positive fix for a common problem.
