never mind

Postby dunes450r » Tue Jan 22, 2013 1:13 pm

i'm an honest kind of guy, and if i had sold something that turned out to broken when i sent it, i would rectify the situation as best i could. unfortunately i have found out the hard way everyone on here isn't the same, didn't think i was out of bounds asking the guy what i would have done myself.
wasn't trying to cause drama

I'd say you don't have a leg to stand on. You should have checked it as soon as you got the part. Whoever sold it now only has your word that you didn't run it.

A friendly reminder: Use of our Classified Sections forum boards is at your own risk. ;)

And, Respectfully, let me offer three words of advice: No Drama Here.

Honestly i see the classifieds as a as is no warranty transaction on most things unless you are paying $500 or more for it. As far as lift pumps and things of that nature is almost impossible to tell something maybe damaged that wss working when removed.

I'm sure your intent didn't include drama(no harm, no foul :) ), but unfortunately, these kind of threads typically don't end well.

There's a thread at the top of all the Classifieds forums called "TIPS for Buying/Selling in our Classifieds" viewtopic.php?f=6&t=11879. Check it out.

I've been meaning to condense all that but then, folks can always contribute to that existing thread >coughHintHintcough<
