I guess I don't care, so long as the "helper" isn't being a sneak and doesn't have their own agenda.
However, I will say that IF there IS anyone "behind the scenes", not listed as admins or mods, what does that say about the trust factor of the people running things?

That'd be like electing a President who tells people he's "for them", yet does things to hinder them.

Mark.

What I meant was we can police ourselves.....most of us with common sense.....most

BobS, I've actually been in those shoes.
I am a member of a Mopar Forum that is much like this site, loosely regulated, very laidback.
Well, back in late '06-'07 I pretty much swore off the internet, but recalled some of the last conversations I had was with a fellow, whom I'd never met, but had much respect for, and he wanted to talk to me by phone about a deal.
I tried to contact him and couldn't, then lost my internet and never got back on.

Fast forward a year plus.
I get back on, do some searching, to find out he'd been killed while driving his motorcycle out of his driveway, in the same week that I was last on the internet.
It wasn't a good experience to go through, thinking all that time that someone was there and they are just...well, gone.

As we get older, this will happen more and more with people we know.

Mark.

I know Brian seems to stay pretty busy. I would love to see him post more though. He is the major reason I'm into diesel performance like I am.

Me two Andy, Brian sparked my intrest in diesel performance, and when i got on here Richie and Pete just made me feel
right at home and like i really had some guys that knew about the sport and would share and be truthful about it, and not
just blow smoke.....so to speak.

i do miss Richie and hope all is going OK.

Richie had some issues he had to resolve. Last I knew he was doing fine and had something else to occupy him that was more fun than us. I find it really hard to believe that anything could be more fun than hanging around here and playing with us but that's what he said. ;)

What's with the over use of the 3-letter 'F' word?
Thought this was a "Pol-Correct" forum? :?
