We pulled the camper off last night and I've never seen the inside of a box as clean and straight as this truck. The front panel is 100% straight and there is not a ding or dent on the inside. I think they never hauled a thing with that truck other than that camper. I drove it for the first time last night and its really nice. Proper floor padding and under hood padding make this truck many times quieter than my last one. I almost can't hear the motor except at a stop. ( put the sawsall away Pete, it came with a straight pipe) Color me very happy.

:( I was looking forward to it too. It sits soooo much higher than the Jetta.

Makes me jealous as mine isn't quite so quiet with it's straight pipe ;)

I've ran across a few I/c trucks that are REALLY quiet.

Us "normal 1stgen.org people" usually screw that up with adding timing.

This is a non I/C truck (built 10-90). I think part of the reason its so quiet is a proper hood pad, floor padding and door and window seals that work. Plus, it might just be quiet to me - my last truck didn't have any floor or hood padding and the door seals were pretty bad.

The truck looks good Meby. If you make it to SOP (and if I get my act together on paint) they'll be two blue 2wds present :D
