No, she left me to pursue her new found career

I'd just assume a wall be built on the east side of 41. Nothing good happens over there.

I'll make it a point to go when diesels lose popularity and events like this won't be white trash central.

Well I choose to have a positive outlook and take in the top level of diesel motorsports in the entire country. Silly me

The pulls are worth going for, probly the best in the nation, but the rest of it is a joke.

I like mingling with the first gen guys though, and watching some dyno pulls.

I'm surrounded by trash 5 days and 40+ hours a week, I won't willingly subject myself to more of that on my off days. I'm not sure if my brother has any trucks running his engines this year (I'm sure he does as he is one of the top builders in the country) so if he does I'm sure I'll see the video of it.

You might as well never plan on going then. Its been like that for many years. If they killed the drinking up there I would consider going back. I haven't been in 7 years now for a reason.

It was a good show. It was a great pull Saturday night. One drunk volunteered to leave the stands  Overall, it was cleaned up compared to last year. There was no Burlington Coat Factory party and the campgrounds were tame and well patrolled. Evidently the K-Mart parking lot was (not) the place to be. No hard coolers were allowed this year either.

I never for see alcohol being completely against the rules at SDX because the ticket price is still the same whether the attendee is hammered in the stands or looking to gain information at the tech seminars. I do think the event is heading the right direction though.

That's good to hear Caleb, it could be an awesome event for the hole family if it were a bit tamer.

as it was last year, no way would I bring my wife.

not that she would be hanging on the measurement of each pull for 8 hours anyway...

A lot of the guys I know went up early Satu Saturday morning and drove back that night after the pull. They said it was a bit calmer but still drunk aases all over the place driving. They also said the cops were acting worse then the drunks flying all over the place.
