Pulled over and searched

So..........today I drove our back up, back up, back up car. A pos 97 cavalier with a white trunk (car is red).

Didn't even make it to town and back without getting pulled over AND had the car searched by the k-9 unit.

Flippin' ridiculous.

My dad was a narcotics officer in Michigan, my brother in law is an officer about 60 miles away.........I even had a job offer from that police department about 8 years ago......I get how the system works, no doubt there. But frick I was pissed.

My uncle was on his way up to Iowa from Oklahoma in a blue Dakota with a yellow stripe and yellow wheels and got stopped and the k9 started barking so my uncle and aunt got sent to jail while they stripped the interior out of it. And the reason he got stopped was because his truck matched the description of a truck that they were after.

Yep..........I'm white, I have a semi shaved head (#2 attachment), I'm 6'4" and about 230 pounds.

I must look like a meth head. Especially with a female black lab with a pink collar on and a 2 year old in the seat.


They pulled me over for "modified exhaust" at which I laughed, I didn't mean to laugh, but I did. I couldn't help myself and said "and you haven't pulled me over in my truck".

Three days ago I was driving through town coming up to a red light. I was slowed down to about 5 kph and I jerked the steering wheel slightly to avoid a 8" pothole in the groove of the lane I was in and came to a stop. I never crossed a line or went out of my lane. A cop pulls up beside me at the red light and yells "You know I could give you a stunting ticket for that? You want a stunting ticket?" I didn't even bother trying to argue, just said "No sir." What I felt like saying was "When the hardworking taxpayers pay for my facking balljoints, tierod ends, and tires I will blindly smash my truck through every facking pothole I can find!" But I am sure the dumb basterd would have pulled me over and gave me a ticket. Really pissed me off. Of course I could have fought it in court, but I have better things to do. It'd be nice if they'd make themselves more useful than they do sometimes. Don't get me wrong, they serve their purpose, but there is definitely some boneheads out there.

Remps, here in the fine state of NY you still have to pay the court surcharge. So even if you got out of the ticket you'd still have to pay for the privilege of chatting with the judge.

On my way back to work after lunch I passed some clown on a moped swerving back and forth in his lane jamming out to his mp3 player. Keep in mind that this a 4 lane highway out in the country that people generally do 70 mph on.

This guy should have been pulled over and searched by all means.

That's kinda funny you say that too. I was talking to the neighbor one fine sunday morning a few years ago and he said he had 500lbs in his bed the night before. He had brought 2 chicks home from the bar. I told him there was only 1 thing I could think of to say.........video!
