Ok, How long until the yearly headlite dimming thread?

Postby BobS » Sat Oct 26, 2013 5:25 am

Did I miss it? Is it a good sign that everybody knows what's going on with the grid heaters by being informed or does it mean the sales to new owners have diminished and our trucks are being scrapped at a higher rate due to a lack of interest? Opinions?

Haha, I was just thinking this the other day. I'll give it another month. Ironically, I have a different headlight dim/pulse issue that happens all the time and I can't figure it out. Electrical work > me.

I've recently noticed that when I take my foot off the brake pedal, the rear lights dim. :?:

So far, I've thrown a new battery, alternator, and some kind of magnets that clamp on the battery cables at it with no positive results. What should I check next?

Theres the problem. Those magnets were supposed to go on the lift pump supply line. With that line being plastic. Just duct tape then on.

When I first read BC's post.......... I was not getting it...... and then I felt really dumb and embarrassed.
