Family stuff

Postby 93flatbed » Sat Nov 23, 2013 2:13 pm

Our daughter started doing competition cheer leading a few months back. This was their second competition thus far and they have taken 1st place in thier division both times. I'm a proud Daddy to say the least. Wife, son, and I felt very out of place in this competition. Appently boots, jeans and hats aren't looked apon as proper attire for a cheer leading competion in the area we were in. Also a spit can is very frowned on.

There was a "lady" sitting next to us,she was from one of the higher "class" areas of the valley. She was shucking and jiving about the name of our daughter's squads name, Grater Level Cheer. Once the whole thing was said and done and valerie/her squad beat every one I looked at her and said, guess it doesn't matter where you are from or what the name of you squad is huh? She responded in some jiberish I couldn't understand, which was typical of her race. "Oh helI no I heard a few times". I walked away with a smile to congratulate our daughter on her win.

My daughter punched a big fat boy inthe eye Friday at recess...he'd been picking on her since the start of the school year. She was coming home crying to the wife about it for a month now and the wife spoke with the teacher several time to get something done.....nothing happened. So I schooled my girl how to throw a punch, apparently pretty well cause the little boy had a shiner when I went to get her from school at 2....the punch happened at 1.

Yep I'm a proud papa

Ha, yeah I remember those days. Its a big deal for them and they are so proud for you to go see the log in the toilet. You will start finding little floaters all the time, because they don't flush so you can go see their achievement.......

Daughter knocking out a boy bully is freaking awesome! Hope you took her out to ice cream or something.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I can't wait until high school. Both of our kids are bigger than most of their classmates. So high Scholl sports should be good.

Making it to state finals is a big deal! Congratulations.

He gets a cookie. Willing to try anything considering he is almost 3. Started just before 2 and he was ready and was peeing in the potty all by himself and everything for a week or two and then bam.........he didn't have the time nor the care to go anywhere but the diaper. Finally getting where he cares.

Just because you put two single wides side by side and have a particle board walk way between the two you can't call it a double wide....its just two singles side by side....lol just giving ya a hard time.. My son potty trained at 2 years and my daughter is thinking about it.....she only pooped in the potty once lol...

Hit another 1st place today. I'm So proud!

She/the team knocked out some tough competition today. Big city teams fell victim to the small town rednecks.

My daughter is in the gymnastics stuff now. She hated cheer leading and soccer. I'm not a sports guy so it wouldn't bother me if she didn't want to do any.

Last competition of this season. Took another first. Tally of the season was 5 firsts and 1 second. They all had a great time. We are going to take the team out for a fun weekend, to something I hope they serve beer! Best part was the worst injury we had all season was a sprung ankle by one of the back up girls.
