I've never had that. I'd just defer to the "yea, uh huh, yea, uh huh" bit. I am tickled every time I talk to some self professed master mechanic. I used to get pissed, but now I feed the fire and chuckle about it later. I had a kid tell me that he was afraid to pull any mote than a car hauler with his 03 Cummins. Anything more would tear up the trans.
He'd have a stroke seeing what I consider a decent load.

Since it looks like I need to buy new hubs, anyone have any advice on what to get? Warn premiums seem to be a good choice from my research...

Beautiful scenery though. We are completely re modeling our place (inside and out) and I'm currently in a mad rush to finish up all of the trim, painting, etc... outside before it gets too cold. I'm flat stressed out about it.

Those are the internal locking ones right? Came on 92-93 trucks? Loved mine. I hated the Selectro-Hubs. Pricey little things.

And it snowed this morning.

Well spent six and a half hours today at my daughters cheer leading competition. They did great and I'm very proud of all of them. It ended up running 2 hours behind after issues with the judging of the starter squads.

Best deal for would be some old spicer lockouts off an 80's era chevy and ford pickups. They have all steel/iron internals while Warn, Mile Marker and similar have cast aluminum parts.

If you have some money to burn look at Yukon lockouts, I installed a set when I swapped in 35 spline stub axles and they are nice.

Beats me, I don't know much about suspension, axles, etc. All I know is my 4wd doesn't work because I can't lock the hub. And I need to get it fixed so I can go racing before PIR shuts down for the winter.

What's the reasoning behind that? Stock one cracked so go big for future mods?

I just had it laying around, I bought a new T4i one for the HX52 on the old Dodge.

I threw my 12cm 'gated H1c on there and replaced the bolts with studs and locknuts.

I also knocked the collar off the fuel screw and gave it a turn or so. Really woke it up, that and the turbo make such a better driver. Until I got on it to show the old lady what I had done all day, then the exhaust fell off. I was repositioning to match the longer housing and forgot to tighten the clamp.

She was mighty impressed.

Got new TRE on the ol 93. Initially got them because I knew I'd have to torch the piss out of them to adjust the toe-in (had WAY to much and eating steer tires). Good thing, because the left one was pretty worn. Got it set at 1/16" toe-in now. Drives nice! Now I can put air in my Kelderman again. 8)

Picked up a HX35 for it as well.

Finally got a chance to get the skid steer out and get the bucket off. I'll post pics later, but the top rack that locks into the top edge of the attachment measures 42-7/8" long, and the pins measure 29-1/8" on center.

I have found a couple universal quik-tach plates for cheaper than I can buy material and bend it up at work, so I'm gonna go that route to mount my plow and jib crane, but do these measurements sound close or familiar to the newer machines? Looking into the future to buy some different attachments
