Cat doesn't build on road engines, they couldn't meet the emissions requirements. Those Cat trucks are Navistars with a hood from a Cat loader with a pretty paint job. I was talking to a local contractor today who has 2 of them as dumptrucks. He said they had to go back to Cat because the space from the cab to dump box was too much and looked funny, so Cat made a diamond plate box to fill the space. Now I'll be watching to see them as I didn't notice that before.

I am clueless about this new stuff. Blissfully clueless. "CAT" is stamped into dang near everything though.

To my surprise, the two Paccar mills have functioned flawlessly all summer except they have to regen all the time.

Yep. I'm glad someone else tells the truth. ;)

For me cat is right there with Deere stuff. Most products are good then there are some that are complete garbage but because of the brand of product everyone just has to say it's the best thing ever

Well tonight sucked at the pull. Changed injection timing. From 36 degrees to 34. First class ran ok 280.6 feet 3% over direct gear. Second class was 216 feet in direct. Charger keeps surging and from what I'm gathering the exhaust housing is too small and over boosting the engine. Guess I'll be calling precision tomorrow morning to see what bigger housing they suggest. Running a .98 housing now. Prolly end up with a 1.12 and see what happens. Still got fourth place and got $50. Have a lot of data to go through I the am from the data logger to see if I can find anything.

Any of you FB girls been following Swank's Greenspeed posts?

Dynoed their S-10 today, 1089 hp/1531 ftlb on the first pull.

Made myself look like and ass in the comments by not even looking at the pics, but everything else is damn impressive.
