Hey Dar, I just replaced the spark plugs in the wife's Outback. 1 hour later and I have them replaced. I figured it might be time when: it had a stumble, smelled like it was running rich, and mileage went to 16mpg in town.

They needed to be .035-.038. I'd say they are a little worn.

Was it fun Jon? I changed plugs in my cousins outback wagon and swore the whole time. The frame is right at the same level as the holes you need to access the plugs so you need to keep swapping the extension on and off to get them out. I did it up at his house and didn't have my regular selection of tools. Didn't know if yours was the same way.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

I apologize if there is any AutoZone employees here...

I generally deal with O'Reilly or Napa, but I was in a pinch. I call AutoZone on the way into town about a part. The guy told me it's at the other store. I say ok thanks and head there. I get to the second store and give them the vehicle info. "uhh we can't get that." So I'm like Wtf your other store sent me here. Nope, their system can't order it, despite the other store giving me a price.

I hope that was the last time I'll ever make the mistake of dealing with them.

Can't stand most parts stores around here.
I called Oreillys for a speed sensor for my wife's maxima and the guy told me it would have to be special ordered. I thought no big deal, until he told me they might not be able to get. Then he says I have to pay for it ($250) before he can try to order it! I was like no way am I paying you for something you might not be able to get and went home and found it online for about $100 IIRC.

Bought a new toy today. 2004 331G bobcat. 2800 hours. 41 hp Kubota diesel. Decent machine. Need some work on the tram controls and the bucket/ quick coupler. Price was right and I may end up flipping it.

Also got me a couple of projects that I have been tinkering with a bit. 1976 Monte Carlo. Rotted out with a nice 400sbc. Will be pulling it out to slide it down into a 1993 ext cab 2wd s10.

I've changed plugs in a Ford E350. This was a breeze compared to that. I used a 6" wobble extension. Moved enough to slip it around the shock towers and I had 2" to spare for the ratchet.

I used to make fun of mini excavators until I started working for Caterpillar. I thought I would be more productive with a shovel. Boy, was I wrong. We rented the hell out of 303s and 305s, which are a bit bigger than what you have there. Handy little machines.
