No I agree they are too dam loud.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. Last night was just rediculous :?

Me and the wife wanted to go out last night.... paid for a baby sitter and everything..... wasn't gone 2 hours. But then again, there is nothing to do when you don't go to bars, or drink. We do the movie and dinner thing once in a while, but not that often.

The bar that's closest to me is quiet enough you can have a normal conversation easily. It also has a really good steak night every Friday.

So.......... about 5 minutes ago I get a call on the business line and they say "I was calling to inquire about the vehicle that you had for sale on craigslist". I'm somewhat confused because though it is a spam style of statement, they in no way sound like a scam style of caller. So, I say, "you must have the wrong number, as I don't have a vehicle for sale on craigslist." She says, "Oh, i'm sorry" and sounded very confused.

I then google the business number and throw craigslist at the end of it to see if such an add exists.... I get nothing.

I then google their number and get pages of " for a good time " adds.

I literally just got called by a prostitute.... my wife was not amused when I told her the story.

Ellis, I'm sorry, I just can't get it right what the hell state you are in. I do that all the time.

Dman, if it's too loud you're too old! That's what a local rock station had as their motto 20 years ago. I agree, I don't like it loud any more either.

I was up watching a movie, and it ended right at midnite, so I posted. I never gave it a thought about the time difference.

Eric, the hooker probably misdialed the number. Just think, some poor sap didn't get lucky because of you!

I like loud music but when you can here it driving down the road in front of the joint that's a bit much.

Iirc gentle men's clubs are reasonably quiet. I don't really have a problem with the noise, but when you're trying to have a conversation it's annoying

So I'm trying to buy an HX35 for a spare. I find one locally on Craigslist. Ad says $250 obo, very negotiable. I text him, yes he still has it, and I say I'll buy it if he'll work with me on price. I'm trying to trade off my H1C too. He says $125 and my H1C, which is in good shape, or $200 cash. I eloquently explain that I bought my last HX35 for $75. I'd do $125 or $100 and my H1C. He's balking. I send a pic of my turbo and a $100 bill as proof. He balks more. We're $25 apart. I explain that I have cash in hand and he's 20 min away. More balking.

So for the icing on the cake I send a pic of a $100 bill and a $100 bill of Monopoly money, asking if we had a cash deal. Didn't hear back from him.

The locals don't seem to want to wheel and deal too much. I know I wouldn't lose a deal over $25!

So, what radios from other Chrysler vehicles fit in these trucks? My tape player is eating tapes again and I want a stock looking radio. I suppose I could upgrade to a unit with a CD player too, but I don't want something that flashes at me every 2 seconds like the Pioneer in my Scooby.

Thanks Andy. While we're at it, does anyone know of an aftermarket unit that looks fairly stock or at least wouldn't look out of place in these old trucks? I'm fairly sure I've asked this before but can't seem to remember the results.

Thanks guys.

Same to you farmboy

Do any of you have a shifter stub sitting around from a trashed G360 shifting assembly?
