Yeah, they're going for absolutely crazy money right now. I'm hoping in the next few years (it'll be at least that long before I could afford one anyways) they'll see a pretty significant price drop otherwise might as well pick up a 4th Gen 2500 with a Cummins.

My local Dodge dealer has a few of the 1500 trucks with the EcoDiesel on the lot so on off days I'll be taking a trip up there and going for a test drive just for the hell of it.

I'm still loving the Grand Cherokee with the eco-diesel. The acceleration is just silly. On the 4x4 our average on mixed driving with more city than highway is right around 26. On a road trip we did 32mpg on cruise but only about 30 driving on foot. It doesn't sound like my cummins but you can tell its a diesel.
