Benelli anyone?

Postby bgilbert » Fri Apr 11, 2014 5:29 pm

I'm looking at buying a 20 gauge M2 Field semi auto in left hand version. I've owned a LH Super Black Eagle for years with no problems. Anyone ever had one of Benelli's M2 shotguns?

I have had people around me with one and they said they liked theirs. My FIL is looking into buying a couple of them to put up, I don't know why.

I've shot a handful over the years, and love them. Very smooth guns.

I have quite a few rounds threw one Bill. Very nice guns. If the price is right. Don't look back.

Yeah I've fired at least 2000 rounds through my Benelli SBE with only 2 malfunctions. Both were reloads that failed to eject. This 20gauge would mostly be for Nicole. She was on board until she saw the price  . Apparently she expected you could buy a shotgun for 50 bucks  . This purchase might go on the back burner for awhile though. I just bought $1700 worth of furniture    and I'm still paying for a motor build  ... Time to sell something!

If you are looking to buy used the Indy 1500 is a good place to look. New prices there are generally nothing to write home about, but if you have cash in hand and something to trade off, used prices are usually pretty good.

There's deals to be found on GunBroker too.

I haven't been to the 1500 for a number of years. I would never see a Benelli for sale there. I imagine the price tag keeps them away. I'm cheap, but I don't mind spending my money on something that is top notch and worth the price to me. I've been through less expensive shotguns and it's like anything else, you end up paying more in the long run.

Unfortunately I'm back on the 'buying guns' kick.. Other than an AR I just had to have recently, I haven't bought anything since about 1998. I might have to sell a truck or two if this keeps up  .

Now that you mention it, I don't recall specifically seeing any Benellis at the 1500. GunBroker is still good. Dad's bought a lot of stuff under MSRP there.

At the 1500 if its in the south building. Center row just inside the door is a dealer for benelli's. I haven't been a in a year or so. My work weekends have been falling on the show dates.
