01 24v cab and chassis whats it worth

This 01 24v 6spd 2wd 3500 that's kicking my butt the kid's about ready to just unload it as is (hard to start but runs smooth) Cabs rotted on the ds and same with the fender passenger side isn't terrible.

The thing leaks oil like crazy out of the front seal, rear pinion seal leaking, tires are just street tread and not the greatest, the whole front end has been gone through probably 6-8k miles ago, just put a reman ps pump on it. Whats it worth? He's thinking 3k I'm thinking I could talk him down to around 2k.
92 D350 Cab and Chassis. Auto stock, wiring gremlins. 330k miles
92 W250 Ext cab rotted completely out. Auto, pump maxed, 215 ppump nozzles, Denny T2 pin.
85 D350 single wheel, converted to cummins, getrag, turned up 2 turns and afc screw flush.

He has one, I'm just waiting to see if he wants to go a head and have me install it...So, I'm not sure if I can swing it, but I'm going to try and convince my wife to let me lol.

I'd go 2 on it for the 6spd. Then I'd gut that thing,ve the 24v and drop it and the 6speed in my dodge 8)

ve 24 valves seem to run pretty good. Not that they make much more power, but seem to be more efficient all the way around.

RIP 91.5 W250 5 speed. The great experiment.
92 W250 HD 47RH with Compushift. Upgraded H1C to 62/60/16, Scheid Lightning VE, 60# valve springs, DAP 7X.010 injectors, 4" DE exhaust, home made cooler tubes.
