My Crew has a very firm pedal and stops as good as my hydroboost conversion W350. I guess it really seems to be just about how good your brake system is. One thing I have learned is to be very careful about what brakes you use as many linings are too hard_(ie lifetime brakes) and don't have a good coefficient of friction. I would rather have a brake that wears out and stops than one that never wears out but won't stop.

Most performance and exotics have soft brake pads.

My pile must have them lifetime pads and shoes on them, lasted a long time, but won't stop for crap.
