If I'm actually right it's an inline pump with dynamic timing advance.

My memory is no good Pete. What'd I call you?

Its amazing how much better the truck runs with the boost reference tube hooked back up. I kept blowing the dam swivel fittings apart so I bought a brass air brake fitting. Hopefully this time it stays together.

In my defense I admit to being a postwhore.

On another note first day of classes went well. I knew most of what was written in the modual already, and the little assignment thing that was given out was something I did for fun when Caleb mentioned Those 3500 series cats (measuring displacement) and btw the whites I mentioned are rated at 900hp at 900rpm on natural gas n/a, and 1100hp at 900rpm with a turbo. 3512 cats are about 1200hp at 1500rpm, but from what I can tell lack the torque of a 7042 Waukesha as the wauks can power a compressor that'll handle twice what the cat will

Can you burn gas right out of the ground in an engine? I'm wondering why all these engines run on it when from the way it sounds you are in a remote location. I figure by the time you run a line or truck NG in, the cost benefit is a wash versus diesel in a remote location.

Fuel gas comes right from the suction side of the compressor. As does start gas since all the big units use air starters. A handful of the stuff I work on uses instrument air for the starters, but it's far more common for the starters to use natural gas

I liked that one thread on cf where both of us got in there with anti delete posts before anyone else posted their love of it

My favorite is one of the moderators is the one we always have issues with. Gets SO offended by his love for rolling coal.

Whether you should or shouldn't is really subjective. I Just like power. I'd prefer not to black out interstate while I wait for my big single to light. I did some exuberant driving today in a couple situations that called for it, and was pleased at how little smoke I produced. I'd like there to be less, but that's just not in the cards with the fuelling I've got

Honestly I have no idea how that train of thought got derailed. Maybe bedtime is at hand

lol... Yea, I feel the same about the 06 with efi. It is so nice to absolutely just flat foot it and maybe a little puh come out. The RC, was relatively clean for a 1st gen and was about as clean as a 800hp common rail.

New engine.... I hope is as clean as theory should make it.
