I plugged the truck in last night just to be on the safe side.

We broke into the positive temperatures around noon. No trouble out of my truck being plugged in for 1.5 hours. Dad's is dead in the water and it was plugged in all night. Stupid Fords

Mine was very grumpy when I came out of work. Where I park it always has wind blowing on it so it doesn't help. She slowly rumbled to life. I'm sure my three year old auto zone battery is getting weak.

I swear by NAPA batteries. Dad has 3 year old carquest batteries and I think they're bad. It didn't help that he'd crank, crank, and crank on it last winter when we had sub zero temperatures compounded with bad injectors.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes fells! 8) I had to go to my wifes Aunts calling hours last night so I wasn't on here.
No problems getting on here, with my PC though, none of that fancy phone for me!
I run about 30% kerosene when it gets this cold, I put it in the FRT Monday night. Plugged in, started and ran like a dream at -4 this morning.
I ran Carquest batteries for 13 months in the '97, then 1 died. They wanted 1/2 the price of a new one for the prorate. I stuck my 4 year old Case battery back in and ran it for another almost year before the other one went. I put in a new set of Dekas fall a year ago and had no problems. The other bad thing about the CARQUEST batteries is they outgas all the time. It's about impossible to keep the terminals clean. There was a big writeup on TDR about it. I found it about a month after I bought them though!

If I could own a fast boat, it would be Cummins powered.

Because I love sinking money at a bigger cubic dollar and faster than the sinking Titanic.

Fine, so stop your whine!

I rode in a Cummins powered workboat once, twin 5.9's, All you heard was turbo scream and exhaust noise. We had to wear hearing protectors on the ride to the island. It was cool.
Guy told me the boat was on it's 3rd set of engines, and the Cummins' had been in twice as long as the 2 previous sets, what ever brands they were.

Cummins would also be what I'd want to power a boat. 2 or 3 of them cranked up to 1500-1750hp, and whatever it'd take to make it nice and stable. Then just awesome all over the place
