I hardly ever go up because of the mosquitos and other bugs, plus there isn't much to do there. The breeze was blowing, so very few bugs, the sun was nice and the temp was just above 70. If it was like that most of the time I'd be up there every weekend or 2 to just sit there, drink beer and walk in the woods. It was so peaceful I didn't want to leave.
Nothing like being in the woods. Hence why I hunt April 15-June 20, and then Aug. 30-Dec. 24th. approx 3-5 days a week.
That's just for Turkey, Bear, Deer, Elk, Lion (never actually hunted Lion)(Hunted Antelope once..successfully). Oct-Feb I trap.....Muskrat, Beaver, Coyote, Wolf, Bobcat, Marten, Mink, Raccoon. Oct-ish-Jan-ish.... Goose, and duck.
I fish year around as well.
there is literally nothing like being outdoors, away from the "world"....as the good Lord has given us the privilege to do.
