I'll be honest.....I have been loading and shooting more the last few weeks than tinkering on the pickups. Working on other folks junk has me burnt out pretty badly on vehicles.
Like tonight I sized/deprimed,reamed,and trimmed 1000 223 casings. All by power tool tho ;)

I've been prepping my four wheeler for a riding trip we are going on next weekend. I may actually work on the trucks some today.

I spent Friday and Saturday working on the farm from daylight until after dark. I rented dads Case 40xt (with na 4bt engine) and dump trailer plus an auger to punch a bunch of holes with. You can't see it well in the picture, but all the holes are drilled. After I took the picture yesterday, I poured the footings at the bottom of the holes, put in tubes you see on the back of the truck and finished grading the slab site. The shop is going to have a monolithic pour concrete, insulated, and in-floor heat. I can't wait to have a shop not under a tree. :D

While I had an auger for the skidloader, I drilled another 24 holes around the farm for various fence, corral and misc ongoing projects. These augers are worth every penny. I can drill holes 10 times faster and easier than with my 3 pt tractor mounted one!

I pulled the driveshaft on the green truck yesterday, and found I ate the u-joints again. Pretty cool wear pattern in this one! I'm pulling the shaft tomorrow and sending it to the driveline shop with my buddy, the rear yoke is squeezed a little and the joint is under pressure all the time. What I thought were real good joints turned out to be the best of the cheap joints from another manufacturer. :( I put the new stacks on too, but I haven't driven it yet.
I blew off today and rode the bike to camp. It was the nicest up there it has been in 30 years that I can remember. I hardly ever go up because of the mosquitos and other bugs, plus there isn't much to do there. The breeze was blowing, so very few bugs, the sun was nice and the temp was just above 70. If it was like that most of the time I'd be up there every weekend or 2 to just sit there, drink beer and walk in the woods. It was so peaceful I didn't want to leave. 8)

Nothing like being in the woods. Hence why I hunt April 15-June 20, and then Aug. 30-Dec. 24th. approx 3-5 days a week.

That's just for Turkey, Bear, Deer, Elk, Lion (never actually hunted Lion)(Hunted Antelope once..successfully). Oct-Feb I trap.....Muskrat, Beaver, Coyote, Wolf, Bobcat, Marten, Mink, Raccoon. Oct-ish-Jan-ish.... Goose, and duck.

I fish year around as well.

there is literally nothing like being outdoors, away from the "world"....as the good Lord has given us the privilege to do.

Pulled the drive shaft out of the green truck and sent it to the driveline shop with my buddy. The front u-joint was marked up too. New joints, maybe a yoke, and a balance. I think this is going to hurt a little. :money:

I'm still fighting these damn windshield wipers on my truck. I've replaced those damn bushings but for some reason they keep popping off and I lose the wipers.

Got the turbine housing knocked off with lots of penetrating oil, a deadblow hammer, and boiling water. I didn't think itd work but it surprised me. Going from a 18.5 to a gated 12. Should be a bit more fun to drive.

Haven't made any real progress on The Roo Hunter in a while, but with a bunch of stuff redded out I decided to toss them on, so

Also got this heap on the road today. It just needs the 4.56's put it (it's looking like we'll be doing that at my shop here). Watched it climb a 20 foot birm today though on its maiden voyage. That was pretty cool if I'm honest.
