Yes, she gave me the ok..... Because I told her, she is now getting a new car.

See the original conversation went like this.... "Hunny, I think I'm going to buy a common rail", to which she said "REALLY!". And then the next conversation went like this, "hunny, I think I want your truck.... want a new car this year?" to which she said "Wow, you're awesome".

This is how you get what you want, while the wife is actually excited about it.... ;)

Otherwise.... the original thing would of gone like this in her head..... "why does he get to drive a nice truck because of the company?"" is the company more important than me"

Personally I'd go 6" since you want 37's

I feel like I'm driving a monster truck since I have a leveling kit and 285s.

I don't think you want my opinion

They will be gone.... because its winter, the wife is still driving the one.

Looks like the RC will most likely be down for the entire year of 2015, as major plans are in the works..... super secret squirrel stuff though. So don't ask.... but in case any one is curious.... it will still be ve, I'm not turning against that.

And with well over $6500 into this new engine so far, the project absolutely will be finished. NO worries, it just may be a full year yet again.

Depends on what you do with it. Not a fan of lifted trucks for trailers or getting in the bed, etc.

Great now I want to ask. I don't feel like mine is too big with its little lift, and stock tires. Didn't even feel like it was that big in Eric's RC,

Ve on an 8.3 with quadruple turbos, and a huge shot of nitrous, and water/meth maybe?

I'm not talking about the fueling (as in, its secret)...... But most likely the front axle will have the knuckles cut and make a high pinion, and it may get a fully built 47 to handle the new power, as well as probably going with 1480 rear joints as to help with longevity with the angles. Suspension may or may not get changed to a full 4 link coil, potentially even coilover springs.

It had better be a manual valve body so at least you're not letting it do the shifting for you too. I wonder if you could run an standard clutch rather than a torque converter. I know enough people that shift locked that it shouldn't kill it too easily.

What would be the point when you can run a switch to manually control lockup at any time?

tip of the day: before you freak out that your truck is running 21 volts - double check against a second voltmeter. Apparently I have a bad voltmeter - it showed over 16 volts with the truck not running.

Why the lift? You can tuck 37's with a 4" lift. You aren't gaining ground clearance.
